- The set contains 6 silky crayons and comes in a cotton bag for storage.
- Water soluble solid, vibrant paint that twists up and down like a glue stick. Glides easily, it has super smooth texture and dries in 60 seconds. Can be used on different surfaces like paper, cardboard, canvas or wood.
- Please note that paints can stain clothing, furnishing and carpets. Stains can be removed by soaking the stained cloth overnight and washing it with soapy water (or with stain remover used).
- Recommended age by the manufacturer: 3+. Small parts (like crumbling paint) can mean choking hazard! With younger children only use with adult supervision!
- Avenir toys and craft materials are designed in Germany and made in China.
- CE certified, conforming EU safety regulations. It does not contain any toxic material and safe to use with children – it is not a cosmetic product, though, so please do not use it for skin painting on purpose. After painting, wash the stained skin with soapy water.
Good to know: these silky crayons are safe and non-toxic, but they are not made of natural materials and come in a plastic cover – so in our shop, where we prefer and prioritise natural materials, this set might feel a little bit odd one out! But sometimes, when we feel it would anyway add a great play or artistic value, we make exceptions! It is really hard to find diverse artistic medium for children made of exclusively natural materials, but we believe letting children experience with a wider range of different materials to create is beneficial for them – it can help their creative fluency later.
