Magical Window Stars Kit (intermediate, white)

6,50

Waldorf-inspired windows stars are beautiful decoration in children’s room, especially in pale winter months when the grey light filters through them and makes your home a cheerful place. Their making is also a joyful craft activity that we can make together. And with these sets now you make them together with your children even more easily than before!

This kit contains everything you might need: not only enough transparent paper to make 6 stars, but also a very clever little instruction sheet. Instead of abstract technical drawings with texts, that children might find difficult to understand, the instruction sheet shows every step in the original size. This enables the paper to be placed directly on the instructions and each fold can be easily and intuitively understood. There is also a stencil included that makes it easy to precisely join together the rays of the stars.

Level of kit: easy-intermediate, suitable for children from 10 years to make their own stars alone.
Colours: white. Two different folding patterns.

Why we love Waldorf window stars?

The time we spend with children creates connection. If stars are formed in the process, the memory of this time spent together shines in them for a long time to come. That’s why children’s eyes shine when moments become stars! Waldorf window stars are a joyful crafting activity that we can do together, and they become magical decorations in children’s room. They especially make a beautiful atmosphere in our homes during pale winter months, when the grey light filters through them and turns the room into a cheerful place. But with their different shades of colour and symmetrical shapes they do not only stimulate the sense of beauty and harmony in children, but the activity of folding also promotes their cognitive development. It enhances fine motor skills and dexterity, and it also lays foundations for future geometric understanding.

    About Fensternstern kits:

Berthold Spötzl designed these handy kits with the goal of making it possible to fold transparent stars without great effort and still create beautiful stars – even for younger school children. What makes these sets more than just a set of beautiful transparent paper is that they also contain a very clever, intuitively understandable instruction sheet. You won’t need any further books or manuals with complex instructions, and you will save the tedious and time-consuming work of cutting large sheets of transparent paper, too.

There are sets with different colour combinations and with three difficulty levels:

    • Beautiful window star sets are easy, suitable for children from 6 years.
    • Magical window star sets are easy-intermediate, suitable for children from 10 years.
    • Fascinating window star sets are intermediate-difficult, suitable for children from 12 years.
