We have a basket of simple instruments always around that our son has free access to anytime, and that he is happy to make his own toddler music with several times a day. This monkey drum is definitely one of his all-time favourites. Not only because it’s a beautifully tactile piece, but also because compared to the simple percussion and rhythm instruments it is much more intriguing. Making it work needs some concentration and skill – it is just enough challenge to make him return again and again, and keep him interested for a long period of time. Truly recommended!
