An updated look of your favourite magnetic tiles
If you’ve been a Connetix fan for a while, you might have noticed a few changes in 2026 and wondered what they’re all about. Here’s a little guide to what’s new and what’s staying the same!
The biggest visual change is the introduction of the Bright colour palette, which is replacing the original Rainbow collection. Alongside the six familiar rainbow colours, the Bright palette introduces two additional shades, pink and teal. The result is a fresher, more vibrant palette of eight colours, bringing it in line with the existing Pastel collection.
But it’s not just about colours! In response to customer feedback, Connetix has also been reviewing the contents of its sets, updating the combinations of shapes and pieces to offer more versatile building possibilities. Another welcome change is that corresponding sets in different colour palettes now contain the same number and selection of tiles, even if this means a change in piece count compared to the original packs. We know from our own customers how confusing the differences between sets could sometimes be!
And what about the tiles themselves? Their design, materials and magnetic technology remain unchanged, and all sets are fully compatible with previous Connetix collections. So you can continue expanding your collection with the same quality and building experience you already know and love.
