- The set contains 16 crayons of soy wax in primary colours: red, green, blue, egg yolk yellow, black, brown, orange, purple, pink, grass green, sky blue, sunshine yellow, gray, tan, peach, dark blue. The crayons come in a red velvet bag.
- Crayon Rocks® are produced in the USA from locally and ecologically grown soybeans and colored with natural mineral pigments. They are non-toxic and conform to the strictest toy safety regulations, including the European EN71-3.
- The crayons measure app. 3,2 x 1,9 cm. The size was very carefully chosen by special education teachers and occupational therapists to fit the grip of children between the ages of 3 and 8 and promote a tripod grip.
- The crayons are long lasting and durable. Although appearing smaller, volume is actually equal to that of major brand stick crayons.
- Please note that the white dusty haze, sometimes seen on the surface of the crayons are totally normal. They are called “bloom” and it occurs with any soy product, often seen on chocolate, too. It has to do with the fats in the soy wax. Once the crayons are rubbed or used, that tends to go away and not reappear.
- Recommended age by the manufacturer: 3+.
