Djeco: Casamix (wooden sliding puzzle)

19,90

Djeco’s Casamix wooden sliding puzzle offers a different way of building a picture. Instead of placing pieces freely, children recreate the image by sliding the wooden tiles into a sturdy base, one by one, following the order shown on the template card.

Because the picture is revealed gradually, children must think carefully about sequence and position. Only part of the image is visible at a time, which encourages close observation and comparison with the model. The focus is not on finding the right shape, but on understanding what comes next and how each piece contributes to the whole picture.

The sliding motion adds a calming, tactile element to play and supports fine motor development in a natural way. The large, chunky wooden pieces are easy for small hands to grip and move independently, making this an ideal first logic and observation game from around 3 years onwards. Children can return to it again and again, practising attention, sequencing, and visual memory through quiet, focused play.

A thoughtfully designed wooden puzzle that sits somewhere between a classic puzzle and a logic game, inviting children to slow down, observe, and build step by step.

    About Djeco:

Paris-based Djeco was founded in 1954 by Véronique Michel-Dalès, a woman and mother ahead of her time. Djeco was named after a little gecko, still visible in the company’s logo – a reptile that is said to bring good luck. At the time, Véronique created award-winning educational games for children that were beautiful as well as fun. Fast-forward to 1989, her son, Frédéric revived the small family business, taking it to the next level and creating the colourful Djeco universe as it is known today in more than 60 countries around the world. With a passion for quality, design and safety, these beautifully illustrated wooden toys are instantly recognizable: they have a wide range of toys, puzzles, board and card games appealing to many different ages. And also, in 2007, Djeco came out with a new line that revolutionised arts and crafts in the toy industry. They create fun and colourful kids’ craft sets: everything from origami kits, and fabric painting to DIY paper toys sets. Today, the French brand continues to innovate and collaborate with artists to create toys and games that are not only educational, but that kids everywhere want to play with!
