Djeco: Hop! Hop! Hop! (cooperative social game)

33,90

Hop Hop Hop is a cooperative board game for children aged 4 to 8, where players work together rather than competing against one another. The goal is simple but exciting: help the shepherdess, her sheep, and the sheepdog cross the mountains and the river and reach the safety of the sheepfold before the wind knocks the bridge down.

Players take turns rolling the die and following the illustrated instructions. Some rolls help the group move forward, while others introduce unexpected challenges. When the wind appears, one of the bridge supports must be removed, making the crossing increasingly unstable. Everyone must work together, make decisions as a team, and hope the bridge holds long enough for all the pieces to get across.

Because there is no single winner or loser, Hop Hop Hop naturally encourages cooperation, shared problem solving, and communication. Children practise following rules, taking turns, and handling both success and setbacks together, all within a playful and engaging story.

The large game board and tactile wooden pieces make the game especially inviting for younger players. Games are short enough to keep attention focused, while still offering real suspense and excitement until the very end.

    About Djeco:

Paris-based Djeco was founded in 1954 by Véronique Michel-Dalès, a woman and mother ahead of her time. Djeco was named after a little gecko, still visible in the company’s logo – a reptile that is said to bring good luck. At the time, Véronique created award-winning educational games for children that were beautiful as well as fun. Fast-forward to 1989, her son, Frédéric revived the small family business, taking it to the next level and creating the colourful Djeco universe as it is known today in more than 60 countries around the world. With a passion for quality, design and safety, these beautifully illustrated wooden toys are instantly recognizable: they have a wide range of toys, puzzles, board and card games appealing to many different ages. And also, in 2007, Djeco came out with a new line that revolutionised arts and crafts in the toy industry. They create fun and colourful kids’ craft sets: everything from origami kits, and fabric painting to DIY paper toys sets. Today, the French brand continues to innovate and collaborate with artists to create toys and games that are not only educational, but that kids everywhere want to play with!
