Grimm’s: Natural Beads Grasper

16,95

Grimm’s iconic baby toy in a beautiful natural edition: a set of 12 wooden balls, tightly strung together with strong heavy elastic. The beads are made of a combination of maple, cherry and beech wood, which gives many different sensory experiences. The wood has grain, and it’s lighter or darker, it is hard or soft, heavy or light and feels good in the little hands with its warmth and distinct surface.

Did you know? Natural unpainted wood has an open, rough surface that binds moisture. And on this dry surface bacteria cannot multiply, but die.

    Mama Bear’s Favourite:

I believe that very small children need very few pieces in the beginning. And probably this grasper would be my favourite toy to recommend if I had to pick one, and only one! You might say, it’s a bit simple. But hold on for a second! Imagine that you are blindfolded: touch this toy with the contrasting texture of the different wood, smell it and even mouth it. Because that’s how your baby, whose sight is only developing and therefore experiencing the world through her other senses, will discover this toy. Can you put yourself into her place? Wouldn’t you prefer this toy then over some other?
