Janod: Forest (tactile puzzle)

Who’s hiding in the forest? A fluffy bear, a wise little owl, playful foxes and plenty of other woodland friends are waiting to be discovered!

Janod’s Forest Animals Tactile Puzzle combines the fun of a traditional jigsaw puzzle with an extra sensory surprise. As children piece together the colourful forest scene, they’ll discover seven special pieces with different textures to explore. From the bear’s soft fur and the owl’s feathers to the bushy tails of the fox and raccoon, there’s plenty for curious little fingers to investigate!

With 20 large pieces, this beautifully illustrated puzzle is a lovely introduction to jigsaw puzzles for younger children. A full-size poster is included to help beginners find their way, giving them the confidence to gradually complete the puzzle on their own. Along the way, children practise observation, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and problem-solving, while the textured details encourage sensory exploration.

Once completed, the puzzle reveals a charming woodland scene measuring 65 × 50 cm, full of animals and little details to discover. Made from FSC-certified cardboard, it’s a wonderful combination of puzzle fun and hands-on sensory play.
