Lessing: Build a Wall

22,45

Is it a toy? Is it a sculpture? Is it an engineering challenge? Lessing’s free-form building toys go beyond conventional wooden blocks merging all of these! This organic set, containing 40 uneven pieces, inviting you to build a wall, promotes a sense of balance and static, as well as dexterity and patience. Little Leonardo Davincis will appreciate this sack full of play possibilities — if they can get it away from the grown-ups, that is.

Please note that every single block in the set is unique, and also the sets differ. It might be different than shown on the picture.

    About Lessing:

Lessing Produkgestaltung is a Düsseldorf based design-studio, founded by Christian Lessing. The trained carpenter has been working and studied graphic design since 2006, and in his studio beautiful everyday objects come to life – many of which happen to be also toys. Just like the furniture and design objects, the toys are simple and clever – they are almost like pieces of art by themselves, that invite you to play and to interact. They are modular, expandable, free-form – with no fixed rules. Being purely “analogue”, their handmade wooden toys trigger all senses by their material, their feel and smell. They are a supplement as well as a counterpart for today’s “smart” world.  Many of his toys have been awarded the prestigious German Spiel Gut award.
