Lessing: Follies in a Sack

29,00

Is it a toy? Is it a sculpture? Is it an engineering challenge? Lessing’s free-form building toys open up creative possibilities that go way beyond conventional wooden blocks, while enhancing fine motor skills and concentration. With unique corrugated surfaces, these blocks can be combined to create towers, arches, and other unique constructs. Budding architects will appreciate these sacks full of play possibilities — if they can get it away from the grown-ups, that is!

The set can also be used as a balancing challenge – on whose turn will the tower fall?

Please note that every single block in the set is unique, and also the sets differ. It might be different than shown on the picture.

    About Lessing:

Lessing Produkgestaltung is a Düsseldorf based design-studio, founded by Christian Lessing. The trained carpenter has been working and studied graphic design since 2006, and in his studio beautiful everyday objects come to life – many of which happen to be also toys. Just like the furniture and design objects, the toys are simple and clever – they are almost like pieces of art by themselves, that invite you to play and to interact. They are modular, expandable, free-form – with no fixed rules. Being purely “analogue”, their handmade wooden toys trigger all senses by their material, their feel and smell. They are a supplement as well as a counterpart for today’s “smart” world.  Many of his toys have been awarded the prestigious German Spiel Gut award.
