They combined their last name Mailil with the Danish word for play: “leg”, and from that, the brand name Maileg (pronounced My’lye) was born. Beloved for their heartwarming personalities, Maileg toys show playfulness and charm in every last detail. Theirs is a timeless world filled with beautiful accessories and settings to be collected, cherished and shared with friends and family for generations. Maileg believes the protection the environment is an important issue, and they work hard to improve their production by only using the best and most environmentally friendly production facilities. All their products are BPA-Free and Lead-Free. Furthermore, they are all made using natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool, wood, and metal. As a brand, Maileg do not use plastic except for the polyester filling for their stuffed toys.
