This fun mathematical story follows Stella the starfish, Hannah the octopus, and Oscar the red perch as they dive into the ocean depths to solve riddles and math challenges, racing to save their underwater world from spreading black stains before it’s too late. Along the way, children build skills in comparing and sorting, addition and subtraction, multiplication, division, and logical reasoning, all grounded in reading, observation, and understanding rather than rote drills. Written by the Italian science and education institute Tecnoscienza and illustrated by Agnese Baruzzi, the book includes 56 pages of tasks and solutions plus 8 pages of stickers, and pairs naturally with the second and third grade curriculum for children aged 7 to 8.
