The kitchen cupboard is always the best place to find something interesting to play with. The treasures you find there have interesting textures, colors, shapes, and sounds—and they are all simple! They leave room for you to guess, imagine, experiment, and come up with millions of ways to play with them.

This was the inspiration behind this heuristic play set, which contains six colorful rainbow cups with six matching balls. The set might look simple, but it’s designed that way on purpose! You’ll be surprised at how versatile it is (or perhaps not, if you have a child who regularly raids drawers and cupboards!). It is perfect for counting, matching, sorting, balancing, and, of course, enriching imaginative play. Will the cups become ice cream cones or goblets for pirates? Will they be used for cooking in an imaginary kitchen? Aren’t you curious about what else they can turn into?

The toys of Primož Rojc are very distinct from any other toy in our offer – and that’s where their beauty lies also. They remind us of old, nostalgic toys made in the workshops of our grandfathers. They are made with heart, and also by hand, and the paints and finishes therefore are a bit more uneven, and a bit rougher. Each piece is unique, and we recommend it to people who appreciate handicrafts and homemade toys, and see value in their imperfections. By purchasing this toy you are also supporting a small Slovenian family workshop.

Please do not use disinfectant it. When drying, please do not put it on a hater, as this may cause racks in the wood – simply let dry at room temperature.

    OplaToys products are meticulously handmade in a small Slovenian workshop, overseen by Primož Rojc in Ilirska Bistrica. Primož, growing up in a family of carpenters, acquired woodworking skills himself. Every product is crafted by hand, bearing the distinctive charm of old-style, nostalgic toys. As wood is a natural, living material, it exhibits various markings that make each item unique. Additionally, due to the handmade process, each product may vary slightly from others. All toys comply with European Directives for Toys (DIN EN 71) and undergo safety testing by a third party, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
