These magnetic wands and chips set is ideal to experiment with the basics of magnetism as well as counting or colour sorting. Let your little explorer discover which items will be attracted to the magnet and which items will remain unaffected. The wands contain a permanent magnet folded into the end of a brightly coloured plastic handle which is durable and easy to clean. The plastic chips have a metal rim, which allows them to be attracted to the magnets. For some sensory play, team it up with some coloured rice and invite your child to find the chips or to try to pick up only specific colours. The chips are also great for loose part art activities, and they look appealing on a light table.
