INSTRUCTIONS:
- Hold the needle in your right hand, like a regular knitting needle.
- With your left hand, hold the knitting mushroom firmly, positioning your thumb at the front to grip the top edge.
- Guide the thread from the top segment of your index finger to your middle finger. Use your middle and ring fingers to hold the base of the knitting mushroom.
- Keep the thread or knitted cord taut between your ring and little fingers.
- Begin by winding the thread around the needle, feeding it from above through the knitting mushroom. A short piece will appear, ready to be pulled down.
- Next, wrap the thread once from left to right around the first pin, then move on to the next pin, repeating this loop until the thread is wound around all the pins.
- From here, place the thread flat in front of the next pin. Using the needle, lift the loop over the pin to continue.
- If you want to add a new color, tie the new thread to the old one with a double knot.
- Feed the knot to the inside of the knitting mushroom. Place the ends of both threads on their respective pins and knit a few stitches over the knot to secure it, both before and after.
