Bajo: Building Blocks (big set)

40,00

We believe every child needs a set of building blocks, and this 102-piece set is a truly wonderful one to be enjoyed by the little architects for years! It is not only the colours that stretch a bit further than that of some other classic sets, but also the shapes of blocks make it truly unique.

    About Bajo:

Bajo is a family-owned Polish design and manufacturing company, founded 25 years ago by Wojciech Bajor, an academic architect and set designer. The factory – located in a scenic region at the foot of Polish Carpathian Mountains – has been introducing sustainable solutions to the toy creation process over the last quarter of century, and making hundreds of successful toy designs. Bajo toys are often used as pedagogical aids in kindergartens, too, which find applications for educational and for rehabilitation purposes. Clever mechanics, vivid colors, and innovative designs spark the imagination and delight children, parents and educators alike.      Mama Bear’s Favourite:

I love this set because it stretches a little bit further than usual building block packs – not only the colours, but rather the shapes which ignites little minds to think even more like architects. The blocks in black, blue, light blue, purple and lilac create pillars, columns, pedestals of castles, giving it height and variety. Building blocks that are red, orange, pink and yellow are rectangular and form the walls of the building. Green blocks are smaller and angular. These pieces give the buildings individuality any architect can create. And finally the green blocks can inspire tree formations. Building blocks are very versatile anyway: you can use them with your child for many Montessori-inspired tray activities as well, like colour recognition, sorting, shape tracing, or matching with their shadow cards.
