It is not only the beautifully designed and learning-promoting toys that we really love about Bajo, making it one of our favourite brands, but also the personal story behind the company. Even if their toys have the most modern look, they still radiate some kind of patina and history, making us truly believe that they are not made for only our son, but also for generations to come.

Bajo is a family-owned Polish design and manufacturing company, founded 25 years ago by Wojciech Bajor, an academic architect and set designer. The factory – located in a scenic region at the foot of Polish Carpathian Mountains – has been introducing sustainable solutions to the toy creation process over the last quarter of century, and making hundreds of successful toy designs. Just like many of our brands, they also attach great importance to ecological and sustainable production: Bajo only uses the highest quality wood from controlled forest management, and the safest, natural, non-toxic paints and oils to create their wonderful, high-quality wooden toys.

Bajo toys are often used as pedagogical aids in kindergartens, too, which find applications for educational and for rehabilitation purposes. Clever mechanics, vivid colors, and innovative designs spark the imagination and delight children, parents and educators alike.

Bajo’s toys fulfill the EU safety standard (EN71) and ASTM norms. They carefully select high-quality materials from certified local suppliers, who respect European standards of ecologically sustainable wood production. Each product is hand checked to ensure quality of the completed item.
