Djeco: Batasaurus

€9,30

In Djeco’s Batasaurus, a classic card battle gets a clever memory twist.

Instead of holding their cards, players lay their dinosaurs on the table and have just 30 seconds to memorise where each one is hiding before turning them face down. Then the battle begins! Every dinosaur has a strength value from 1 to 12, and players take turns choosing a card to send into battle. The strongest dinosaur wins the round, but choosing the right card depends on remembering where it was placed. A powerful dinosaur is only useful if you can find it when you need it! Batasaurus combines the excitement of a competitive card game with the challenge of visual memory and recall. Children practise concentration, observation and simple strategic thinking as they try to remember their dinosaurs and decide which one to send into battle. The beautifully illustrated cards also introduce different dinosaur species, adding another point of interest for young dinosaur enthusiasts.

    About Djeco:

Paris-based Djeco was founded in 1954 by Véronique Michel-Dalès, a woman and mother ahead of her time. Djeco was named after a little gecko, still visible in the company’s logo – a reptile that is said to bring good luck. At the time, Véronique created award-winning educational games for children that were beautiful as well as fun. Fast-forward to 1989, her son, Frédéric revived the small family business, taking it to the next level and creating the colourful Djeco universe as it is known today in more than 60 countries around the world. With a passion for quality, design and safety, these beautifully illustrated wooden toys are instantly recognizable: they have a wide range of toys, puzzles, board and card games appealing to many different ages. And also, in 2007, Djeco came out with a new line that revolutionised arts and crafts in the toy industry. They create fun and colourful kids’ craft sets: everything from origami kits, and fabric painting to DIY paper toys sets. Today, the French brand continues to innovate and collaborate with artists to create toys and games that are not only educational, but that kids everywhere want to play with!
