About Djeco:
Paris-based Djeco was founded in 1954 by Véronique Michel-Dalès, a woman and mother ahead of her time. Djeco was named after a little gecko, still visible in the company’s logo – a reptile that is said to bring good luck. At the time, Véronique created award-winning educational games for children that were beautiful as well as fun. Fast-forward to 1989, her son, Frédéric revived the small family business, taking it to the next level and creating the colourful Djeco universe as it is known today in more than 60 countries around the world.
