What to wish for when you find something incredibly unusual that fulfills exactly one wish? So many wishes… how to choose the one that’s truly special? Is there a perfectly perfect wish?

While waiting for the school bus in the grass, a girl named Liza finds an unusual object with a message stating that it can grant exactly one wish, so it must be something truly special. As she contemplates her wishes, she asks people around her what they would wish for. Listening to others’ wishes, she realizes that compared to theirs, all her wishes are actually insignificant. Finally, she generously decides that it would be best to wish for everyone around her to have their wishes come true.

This picture book aims to encourage children to be selfless, compassionate, and empathetic. The story serves as an excellent starting point for reflection and discussion with children about what truly matters in life. Through simple storytelling, the book teaches children that it’s not the same to wish for something and get it immediately as it is to earn what we desire through effort.
