About Maxomorra:

If children could design their own clothing, probably it would be pretty much like Maxomorra! This Scandi clothing brand – known for its signature, eye-catching patterns – was established in Sweden in 2008 by a family exactly out of this idea. They thought that our children’s world are indeed more colourful than children cloths actually reflected it back then (or well, still nowadays if we are honest!). They also wished for clothing that are comfortable to wear for our little adventurers, wouldn’t be harmful to their skin nor the environment. But Maxomorra doesn’t only believe in making the world a little more bright and fun, but also kind. In fact, they especially care about kindness – being kind to the planet, our surroundings, and all the wonderful people they work with! They’ve planted the green seed of sustainability since the very start of our journey back in 2008. And since then, they’ve been trying our best to tend to it, water it and see it grow and blossom in return. In 2012, they were able to harvest the first fruits of our effort by becoming a GOTS certified brand.

GOTS is short for Global Organic Textile Standard and is essentially the gold star when it comes to being a sustainable fashion brand. It’s the internationally recognised and leading independent textile processing standard when it comes to organic fibres. All sides of sustainability are taken into account for the entire textile supply chain considering the highest ecological and social standards, like working with organic materials, using non-toxic colours and dyes, providing decent working conditions, and paying fair wages.

The majority of their clothing is made from a wonderfully comfortable jersey material that we could snuggle in all day long. For some extra warmth and cosiness you’ll also find a couple of velours and sweats.
