FAIRYTALE WORLDS: KNIGHTS & DRAGONS (PLAYFUL BOOK CLUB WITH ANA KOMPARA)

At the end of September, we transition into a different season. The Autumn equinox and Michaelmas serve as significant milestones in the yearly cycle, prompting us to reflect on light, darkness, the struggle between good and evil, personal fears, and warmth. How can we translate this period into stories and play? Well, the answer lies in tales of knights and dragons, which have always captivated children. These stories are brimming with thrilling adventures, brave characters, and unexpected twists. Such fairy tales not only invite cozy reading sessions during the long autumn afternoons, but also ignite children’s imaginations in their play.

On the afternoon of September 25th at 16:00, we will  get together at the Gnezdo Family Center in Ljubljana with the most enthusiastic advocate of children’s books we know, Ana Kompara (@mamainljubljana). In collaboration with Ana, we are inviting you to our joint playful book club centered around this theme, and to immerse yourself in the enchanting worlds of dragons, knights, and castles. This fairy tale world will be brought to life first  through colourful words and then through a carefully prepared play environment filled with high-quality natural toys.

This event is designed for children aged 3-6. Limited spots are available, so be sure to reserve your place now! The main language of the event is Slovene (with a focus on Slovene books, and fairytale), but organized with an English-speaking co-host and international families are welcome.
