The Mighty Old Oak is the favorite tree of a little bear in the forest. When the bear learns that the oak will celebrate its venerable 500th birthday, he decides to organize a special party with his forest friends.

Through the bear’s first-person narrative in rhymes, children discover the characteristics of the seasons and the preparations for the oak’s birthday celebration. Children can read the book independently or with the help of an adult.
