Stabilo is a big stationary company, and you can find their products in many places! So why did we decide to include this specific product into our offer? Well, firstly, because this one is not so widely available, and secondly because it’s simply BRILLIANT! In fact, it’s one of the favourite art supplies of our son!
So what we love about Stabilo Woodies? Well, they are sturdy, so even small hands can grab them easily. In fact, it’s the most perfect starting pencils we have found so far! The leads are thick (10 mm!), soft, and smooth, almost crayon-like, and the colors are truly vivid and intense! The lead contains as much color as eight standard coloring pencils – now figure that! It is so rich that you can even use it on cardboard, black paper, glass or on stone. (In fact, we love to use them to make story stones, for example!) And finally they blend beautifully with water: use it with a brush and some water, and you can turn any drawing into a watercolor painting. It’s an incredibly exciting and quality creative experience for our little ones!
