- Please note that under cold conditions, the crayons can transfer less color. In such cases please run the crayons firmly over some paper before giving it to children.
- The crayons can easily be cleaned with a soft cloth and a bit of vegetable oil.
- The crayons are made in Germany complying EN71 regulations, and are completely non-toxic.
- The Stockmar crayons are based on paraffin (so they are not entirely natural), but they also contain 10% natural beeswax which gives them transparency, allowing colors to layer beautifully, and also adds a pleasant beeswax scent. About Stockmar:
Based in Schleswig-Holstein, the Stockmar company has been making quality products for art and art teaching for many decades. Hans Stockmar started with beekeeping products and beeswax candles in 1922. Acting on the suggestion of certain art teachers he soon proceeded to develop his modelling wax, and more than 50 years ago the classic Stockmar wax crayon was created.
