Better Kids for Better World. At Malih nog naokrog we are passionate about Plan Toys: they are the perfect example how a company can make diverse, truly valuable toys in a sustainable, environmental-friendly manner even on a larger scale of production. Every piece we have ever hold and tried has a well-thought-out purpose: they are designed with a deep knowledge and understanding of children development. They have a great selection of Montessori-friendly materials, but they equally abound in products which offer children with the rich experience of open-ended as well as imaginative play. Also, the toys are simple and beautiful, made with safety in mind, and are of outstanding quality. No wonder that many of their products have won many prestigious awards all around the world, like the German Red Dot or the Spiel Gut awards.

Plan Toys was established in 1981 in Thailand by seven university graduates holding a mission to infuse the world with positive vibes. With a passion for play and preserving the environment (and the future of children with that), they have been producing toys with a very strong focus on sustainability. All of the company’s toys are made with clean, natural rubber wood from trees which no longer produce latex. None of the wood is chemically treated, and to keep the rubber wood pure, no fertilizer is added to the soil for three years before the trees are cut. To strengthen the wood, the company uses a special chemical-free kiln drying process. The toys are colored with safe water-based colours, and to assemble the parts a special certified, non-formaldehyde E-Zero glue is used instead of traditional toxic wood glue. The company also tries to minimize the impact on the environment (read more about it here), and they have a large-scale reforestation program in place.

Needless to say, all Plan Toys products conform, and even exceed the international safety standards, including the European Directives for Toys (DIN EN 71) and ASTM.
