Djeco: Toc Toc Bricks (first dice game)

€12,90

The three little pigs are building their houses, brick by brick. But the big bad wolf is never far away!

In Djeco’s Toc Toc Bricks, children race to be the first to complete their brick house. Each player starts with a house board and one brick, then takes turns rolling the die to find out what happens next. Will they get to add one or two new bricks, or will the wolf come along and make them give one away?

Not every roll brings good news! Sometimes a brick must be returned to the middle, a turn is missed or a lucky throw gives the player another chance to roll. The first player to place all eight bricks on their house wins the game.

Inspired by the familiar story of the Three Little Pigs, Toc Toc Bricks is a lovely introduction to dice games for younger children. The simple rules and short playing time make it easy for little ones to follow, while taking turns, handling the bricks and coping with unexpected setbacks help develop patience, fine motor coordination and an understanding of basic game rules.

    About Djeco:

Paris-based Djeco was founded in 1954 by Véronique Michel-Dalès, a woman and mother ahead of her time. Djeco was named after a little gecko, still visible in the company’s logo – a reptile that is said to bring good luck. At the time, Véronique created award-winning educational games for children that were beautiful as well as fun. Fast-forward to 1989, her son, Frédéric revived the small family business, taking it to the next level and creating the colourful Djeco universe as it is known today in more than 60 countries around the world. With a passion for quality, design and safety, these beautifully illustrated wooden toys are instantly recognizable: they have a wide range of toys, puzzles, board and card games appealing to many different ages. And also, in 2007, Djeco came out with a new line that revolutionised arts and crafts in the toy industry. They create fun and colourful kids’ craft sets: everything from origami kits, and fabric painting to DIY paper toys sets. Today, the French brand continues to innovate and collaborate with artists to create toys and games that are not only educational, but that kids everywhere want to play with!
