- Care: We always advice you to clean the toy with a wet wipe, before the first use. Please do not expose the wood to excessive wetness, and never immerse it fully in water!
- Planwood is a resistant material, but also natural and biodegradable. Please do not leave the toys outside. After usage wash them with mild soapy water and dry them thoroughly. Keep them in dry place. Do not use strong chemicals or disinfectants as wood can absorb them.
Plan Toys products are ethically made in Thailand from sustainable rubber wood, non-formaldehyde glue (which Plan Toys make themselves), organic colour pigments, and water-based dyes. As well as making FSC solid wood toys, some of their product are made of “Planwood” – an ingenious eco material made by compressing sawdust produced in their own factory. All products come packaged in recycled, environmental friendly packaging, and all of their toys conform with the European Directives for Toys (DIN EN 71).

As parents trying to eliminate plastic from our child’s play, we have found that it is the hardest to do so when it comes to sand play. Surely there are some natural alternatives found around the house: small pots and pans, spoons, small gardening spades or jars. But there is very few possibilities when it comes to colourful and funky buckets and molds. That’s why we were overjoyed when Plan Toys come out with its new natural sand play sets.
